Does FleetHisab work offline?
Yes — the Android driver app is offline-first. Receipts, trips, attendance and duty events are saved to local storage first and sync to the server when connectivity returns. Critical for highway and rural routes.

How is driver privacy protected?
Location is collected only with explicit in-app consent (timestamped, DPDP Act 2023 compliant). Tracking runs only during active trips or "On Duty" sessions, via a foreground service with persistent notification. Drivers can withdraw consent or pause tracking at any time. Owners cannot remotely start tracking. ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION is explicitly not used. Raw GPS deleted after 90 days.
